Downtown Development Office

The Downtown Development Office is an advocate for Downtown Garland. 

The DDO coordinates revitalization efforts, policy development, promotional and marketing activities, small business support, and other initiatives that contribute to a growing Downtown Garland.

Primary responsibilities include managing the project plan for the Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone (TIF #1), collectively representing Downtown's interests, and coordinating efforts to promote Downtown Garland as a destination.

OUT OF THE BOX DUMPSTER BEAUTIFICATION

The City of Garland has partnered with 10 local artists to beautify dumpster containers in the Downtown area. 

Future calls for artists for the "Out of the Box" Dumpster Beautification program will be located here.
